He's ready to go!

Following the news of Sami Vatanen's debut tonight, Anaheim Ducks were given some further good fortune this morning.

Ryan Miller, signed in the offseason for two years, was sidelined with a wrist injury after the Ducks' first exhibition game against the Arizona Coyotes. He's been waiting patiently to prove to himself and fans of the game that he still has game left in him.

He will finally have the chance to prove that. He is expected back up starter John Gibson today as the Ducks take on the Tampa Bay Lightning - but it is likely that he starts Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The former Vezina winner (2010) was a dominant goalie throughout the majority of his career. If he can find his game again, he will form a formidable one-two punch with Gibson.

The Ducks are 4-4-1 despite a slew of serious injuries to key players. Ducks fans should be optimistic - when these players all come back (providing no one else gets seriously injured), Anaheim will be a force once again.
