While all the news regarding National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr has sounded rather bleak as of late, we finally have some good news to report regarding the NHL veteran, and it's very good news indeed.
According to a breaking news report from rinkside reporter Andy Strickland of Fox Sports, Jagr's agent has informed him that he is currently in talks with three different NHL teams, indicating that finally teams have caved and are looking to Jagr as a viable option for this season.
Yesterday we reported on a rumor that connected the Blues to Jagr, and while Strickland himself has not mentioned the Blues, he does specialize in coverage of that team so it's very interesting timing to say the least.
The Blues obviously lost young forward Robby Fabbri to a season-ending injury and the sudden need for a point producer like Jagr makes all the sense in the world in that context.
It sounds like fans may in fact get what they wanted all along, another year of Jagr in the NHL.
