The Montreal Canadiens are already without their best centermens; Alex Galchenyuk and David Desharnais. Their absences was felt in the third period tuesday against the Saint-Louis Blues who turned the game around and overcame a 0-2 deficit before winning it in shootout.

Unfortunately for the Habs, they'll have to deal without Greg Pateryn for approximately 2 months. Pateryn, a 3rd pairing defenseman, was averaging 14 minutes for the Montreal Canadiens and injured his ankle during the game against the Blues on December 6.

Zach Redmond was skating alongside Nathan Beaulieu today during the morning skate. It will be his first game in a Montreal's jersey.

The Montreal Canadiens are playing tonight against the New-Jersey Devils.
