Breaking: More terrible injury news for Bruins

Just when it looks like they might be getting back to full health

According to a report from NBC Sports Boston’s Joe Haggerty, Boston Bruins forward Peter Cehlarik will be out of the team’s lineup for at least a month with a lower body injury.

Cehlarik suffered the injury during Friday’s victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins, leaving the game to be checked out by medical staff. It’s a tough break for the big Slovak, as he was just started to find his form after an offseason shoulder surgery caused him to miss most of training camp and the preseason. He has put up three goals and six points in six games with the Providence Bruins this season and was beginning to find some chemistry in Boston with David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk.

For the Bruins, the injury news is nothing new. This is a team that’s already dealing with the absences of Brad Marchand, Ryan Spooner, Anders Bjork and David Backes. Something’s got to give…
