Breaking: Multiple time Stanley Cup Champion cut from NHL tryout today.

There was a rather shocking announcement from the Columbus Blue Jackets today.

The Blue Jackets announced that they had cut a number of players but there was one name that stood out above the rest, the announcement that 34 year old former Stanley cup Champion Jarret Stoll had been released from his professional tryout with the Jackets.

This likely is a career low for Stoll who has struggled since his arrest for drug possession in Las Vegas and now some members of the media, including Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal, are asking if this may be the end of the road for the veteran forward. With that said this is just breaking so we don't know just yet what the next move from Stoll will be.
