Breaking: Murray expected to start Thursday in Vegas

According to a report from Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter Sam Werner, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray is expected to get the start Thursday night as the Penguins take on the expansion Vegas Golden Knights.

Coincidentally, former Penguins goalie turned expansion franchise player Marc-Andre Fleury is also expected to start the same evening. Activated off the IR just yesterday, he's expected to make his return to the lineup tonight for the Golden Knights You know what that means: Murray vs Fleury for the first time ever! There are bound to be some mixed feelings from Pens fans on the evening, but at least they can take comfort in the fact that both goaltenders are back to 100% health and ready to help contribute.

Both Murray and Fleury have been stellar this season, so far. Before going down with injury Murray sported an 11-7-1 record with a 2.95 GAA while Fleury boasts a 3-1 record with a 2.48 GAA.
