The New York Rangers have reportedly signed free agent goalie Alexander Georgiev to a three-year entry level contract, worth $792,000 per season, and $70,000 in the AHL. According to CapFriendly, the 21-year-old netminder can earn up to $132,500 each season in performance bonuses.

It is fair to believe he is going to be the team's third goaltender, behind Henrik Lundqvist and Ondrej Pavelec, who was signed on July 1st.

Last season, Georgiev played 27 games with the HC TPS, also known as Turun Palloseura, in Finland. He registered a 1.70 goals against average, as well as a .923 save percentage.

More details as the story unfolds.
