Things are not looking good in Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Flyers lost their ninth straight game tonight against the San Jose Sharks. After the game, the team had a closed door meeting where no one was allowed, not even the PR staff. That kind of meeting usually happen when a team is going through some tough times. Well, this is exactly the case for the Flyers, who are now eight in the Metropolitan division with a record of 8-10-7. 


Five of the nine games they have lost in that really bad stretch have been in overtime or in shootout. After the meeting, general manager Ron Hextall talked to the journalists, saying that he still believe the team is a playoff contender.
