Breaking News : Goaltender placed on injury reserve
The Winnipeg Jets placed goaltender Ondrej Pavelec on the injury reserve on Tuesday. Pavelec is suffering from a lower-body injury.
It's a tough year for him as he was showing a 4-4-0 record with a 3.55 goals-against average and .888 save percentage in eight games since being recalled from Manitoba of the American Hockey League
He injured himself while playing against the Minnesota Wild one week ago. Head Coach Paul Maurice stated yesterday that Pavelec skated on his own but was not expected to play today.
