Breaking news: The Red Wingss will be traveling to play outdoors next season.

One of the best insiders in the business has just revealed what he believes will be both the location and the teams involved in next season outdoor games. While this is not an official announcement from the league, Bob McKeznie is very rarely wrong, it would be highly surprising if the NHL made any announcement to the contrary during the All-Star break. According to McKenzie both Colorado and Minnesota will be getting outdoor games this upcoming season, Minnesota will face off against the Chicago Blackhawks a rivalry that has intensified over the past few season, and the Avalanche will face off against long time rivals the Detroit Red Wings. This is terrific news for fans of all four franchises, and as hockey fans we look forward to both games next season.
