The Minnesota Wild have signed one of their former forward to a tryout deal.
A report from Michael Russo (Stars Tribune) has revealed that 33-year-old forward Ryan Carter will have a tryout with the Minnesota Wild’s AHL team in Iowa. He’s expected to play tomorrow and the next game. Two very important games for Iowa against Cleveland for a playoff spot.
Carter’s place with the team is not guaranteed as he was previously a regular on the Wild’s penalty-killing unit.
Carter has recorded 93 points (41 goals, 52 assists) in 473 NHL games as a member of the Ducks, Hurricanes, Panthers, Devils and Wild since the start of the 2008-09 season.
