The Minnesota Wild have signed one of their former forward to a tryout deal.
A report from Star Tribune’s Michael Russo has revealed that 33-year-old forward Ryan Carter will have a tryout with the Minnesota Wild’s AHL team in Iowa. He’s expected to play tomorrow and the next game which are 2 huge games against Cleveland, as Iowa battles for playoff spot.
Carter’s place with the is not guaranteed but in the past he was a regular on the Wild’s penalty-killing unit the past two seasons.
Carter has recorded 93 points (41 goals, 52 assists) in 473 NHL games as a member of the Ducks, Hurricanes, Panthers, Devils and Wild since the start of the 2018-09 season.
