Montreal Canadiens head coach Claude Julien provided updates on two crucial players on his squad this afternoon.

Shea Weber and Jonathan Drouin both missed the Canadiens' tilt against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. Their absences were felt, as the team lost 3-0. There were some controversial calls by the refs that had a part in the loss, but regardless, the team clearly missed their two best players.

They may be out beyond this weekend.

These two players join Carey PriceAles Hemsky, David SchlemkoNikita Scherbak, Noah Juulsen, and Al Montoya on the team's injured list.

Weber and Drouin sit second in the team's scoring race with 11 points apiece in 16 games played.

The Canadiens take on the Buffalo Sabres Saturday night at the Bell Center.

We'll provide an update on their statuses for tomorrow' match.
