Breaking: NHL defenseman shows off a terrible attitude after getting benched.

A National Hockey League defenseman is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

For the first time all season Montreal Canadiens  defenseman Nathan Beulieu found himself assigned to the press box as a healthy scratch. While that was a big story in the Montreal market, his comments after the fact are now drawing far more attention.

TSN's Amanda Stein has reported on Beaulieu's comments following the scratch, and needless to say the attitude he displayed is not one that is usually tolerated in the Canadiens organization.

Asked about being in the press box after the game Bealieu merely answered:

"I didn't go up."

While the move was clearly intended to send a message, it seems Beaulieu didn't get the memo. Asked what he had learned from the experience:

"Nothing."

There are now people openly questioning how long Beaulieu has left in the Canadiens organization.
