A National Hockey League enforcer has just been slapped with a harsh suspension.
The league is now officially reporting that Pittsburgh Penguins veteran forward Tom Sestito has been suspended for a total of four games, a very significant amount when you consider the player receiving the suspension.
29-year-old Sestito has only appeared in 9 games all season for the Penguins so this suspension will amount to roughly half the time he has spent on the ice this season. Sestito's suspension comes as a result of his hit on Winnipeg Jets defenseman Toby Enstrom, a hit that resulted in Enstrom having to go to the hospital as a result of damage to his face.
