Breaking: NHL forward believed to be facing a suspension today.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety seems ready to hand out another suspension, and once again they appear to be gearing up to suspend a member of the Philadelphia Flyers.

According to an official announcement from NHL Player Safety there will be a hearing held today for the hit delivered by forward Dale Weise to the head of Anaheim Ducks Korbinian Holzer.

We have not yet been able to track down a video of the incident, but believe one should be made available shortly if the NHL does in fact suspend Weise. We will make the video available at that time.
