Sounds like something big may be coming on the trade front.

It's one thing to have high ranking members of your scouting staff show up to a game you're squad is not playing in, that usually is enough to get some trade rumors flying, however when a National Hockey League general manager shows up in person, it causes the trade rumours to explode.

That's exactly what has taken place on Monday night, with Chicago Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman, who has made it abundantly apparent that the Blackhawks will look to add prior to the deadline, appearing in Montreal to personally scout a game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Nasvhille Predators.

According to the CTV's Brian Wilde, Bowman is there to scout Montreal, who he claims have finally realized that they will be sellers at the deadline, not buyers. The most often mentioned name on the trade market as far as the Canadiens are concerned has been forward Dale Weise, however Wilde has mentioned he believes Bowman is not here for Wiese, and instead believes the Blackhawks GM has come with a much bigger target in mind, although he did not go into specific detail.
