Breaking: NHL head coach now the favorite to be fired this season.

The National Hockey League like all sports leagues sees a number of high-profile firings each and every season, and as a result the Las Vegas oddsmakers have started to take bets on who the first man to be fired will be. 

This year is no exception and a surprising NHL head coach has emerged as the favorite to be the first head coach to be fired in the NHL this season, ahead of many names fans and pundits would have put before him on the list. 

According to Bodog, one of the world's premier betting platforms, San Jose Sharks head coach Peter DeBoer is not the odds-on favorite to be fired with odds of 7/2.  Here are the odds for the reaming NHL coaches in the top 10 of that list.
