Breaking: NHL Player Safety announces multi-game suspension.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has handed down another suspension in the preseason. 

According to a breaking news report directly from NHL Player Safety, New York Rangers forward Andrew Desjardins has received a two-game suspension for an illegal check to the head of New Jersey Devils forward Andrew Desjardins.

Player Safety ruled that this was a high hit, one that made the head the primary point of contact, and furthermore determined that Desjardins took an angle of approach that picked Wood's head when he could have delivered a hit to the body instead.
