You knew this one was coming, with Rangers star Ryan McDonagh fresh off a concussion there was absolutely no way the National Hockey League could ignore the fact that he took another blow to the head.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has announced a three game suspension for Maple Leafs forward Leo Komarov for his clear and deliberate elbow to the head of McDonagh on Thursday night.

It took very little time for the league to come down on Komarov, and we believe that was likely a result of McDonagh's recent concussion and the furor this latest injury cause on social media last night.
