If you're a hockey fan who has been suffering through the summer waiting for the National Hockey League to get back underway there is good news, preseason hockey is just a little over a month away.

On Tuesday the league released it's full schedule for the preseason, a preseason that will kick off on Saturday September 16th with a game between the Vancouver Canucks and Los Angeles Kings, a game that will be the first ever NHL game held in China. 

Other notable dates on the preseason schedule include the debut of the Las Vegas Golden Knights, a debut that will take place on September 17th, as well as the opening of Little Caesars Arena, the new home of the Detroit Red Wings, on September 23rd.
