First and foremost, it is believed that no one was home at the time and it sounds like no one was hurt so that is the good news. That being said we do have some rather sad news to share with you as well.

As many of our readers will already know the great state of Texas has been rocked by a powerful tornado this evening, a tornado that was centered around the Dallas area. Unsurprisingly given the fact that the Dallas Stars are based out of Dallas several NHL players live in the area, and it seems that one of those players has been the victim of mother nature this evening. According to multiple reports that are now pouring in from all over social media, it looks like the home of National Hockey League star Tyler Seguin has been completely destroyed by the tornado.

There is a silver lining here, there are also reports suggesting that Seguin had already purchased a new home in the area and was currently living in there while the house that has been destroyed this evening was up for sale. Of course this incident will no doubt make it extremely difficult for Seguin to sell the house now, but hopefully he had previously insured the property and won't be out too much when all is said and done.

You can see a before and after picture of the property in the images provided below, and to be honest I'm not sure that the house is going to be salvageable after all the damage it has suffered. Based on the images we have been able to gather it looks as though the house is nearly completely destroyed, the roof has seemingly vanished, the windows appear to have shattered, and even the front gate looks like it has been ripped off of its hinges. The only pieces of the house that appear to have survived the onslaught of mother nature are the stone walls, although that may change when we get a picture of the damage with better lighting.

The important think of course is that Tyler Seguin and his loved ones are safe, and we wish him all the best in dealing with the headaches that this will no doubt cause him in the coming days.
