Breaking: NHL superstar rumored to be returning this week-end after missing months.

The Los Angeles Kings fan base may be about to get their best news of the season.

While at this stage it still appears to be a rumor, multiple sources are now reporting that star goaltender Jonathan Quick is set to make his return to the Kings line up after missing nearly the entire season.

Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register is reporting that he has heard Quick is expected to start when the Kings face off against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday. If he were to play it would be just his second game of this National Hockey League season.

Back in January it sounded like Quick would be out until at least March and while March isn't too far off we're sure fans won't mind having him back a few days ahead of schedule.
