Breaking: NHL suspends Jacob Trouba for illegal hit to the head.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has announced another suspension.

In an official statement NHL Player Safety revealed on Monday that Winnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba has been suspended for the next two games as a result of an illegal check to the head delivered to Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone on Sunday night.

The Jets were outraged when a hit from Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin to the Jets Blake Wheeler was ignored by NHL Player Safety and that fire has seemingly been rekindled by this announcement.
