Breaking: NHL team has multiple players hit with food poisoning

The Nashville Predators are in a bit of a panic at the moment.

They have many players who have been diagnosed with food poisoning and their availability for tonight's game against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins could be in doubt.

Preds GM David Poile told the media that "Some players were affected" and that it seems to be due to a chicken soup that the players ate. 

They Predators are following every case very closely and might have to proceed with some emergency call ups if multiple player are unable to play tonight. 

There have been many teams hit with injuries and illnesses already in the first month of the season. Now we can add food poisoning to that list. Hopefully for the players it isn't anything too serious.
