BREAKING : NHL team loses a top-2 defenseman!!
Keystone Press

Things aren't so great for the New-York Islanders, in fact the Brooklyn based team has only 4 wins in 12 games so far this season and only one in their last 6 games. Jack Capuano recently criticized his General Manager Garth Snow for lack of offensive assets, well Capuano nightmare is not close to an end.

According to TSN,  Travis Hamonic should be held out of the action for the next 4-6 weeks with an upper-body injury.

The Manitoba-born defenseman, who expressed his desire to be traded in the western conference, notched 2 goals and added 3 assists so far this season.

Hamonic got injured during Islanders's last game against the Oilers when he blocked Pat Maroon's shot with his right arm. He did not return after the incident. The young blue-liner prides himself for not missing games because of minor bruises and injuries but this time, it is serious.
