One National Hockey League team is having a rough Wednesday morning.

A report from Andrew Gross of The Record has revealed that the New Jersey Devils have lost their star forward Taylor Hall to injury, although it doesn't sound like it's going to be too serious. Hall is reportedly out with a lower-body injury, one that is not believed to be linked to his knee surgery, and is expected to miss the Devils' upcoming contest against the Washington Capitals. There's no official time frame for a potential return from Hall, he is merely listed as day to day.

Gross is also reporting a much more serious injury, with center Vern Fiddler also suffering a lower-body injury only this one will keep him sidelined for weeks not days. It's believed that Fiddler will be sidelined for three to four weeks due to his injury.

Some tough luck for New Jersey.
