Things are looking up for forward Ryan White. When the 29-year-old was looking for a second chance this summer as he joined the Vancouver Canucks on a professional tryout agreement, things turned south after he suffered a blow to his head during a preseason contest back on Sept. 16.

White lost the chance to prove himself as a valuable asset for the Canucks and was released from his PTO, Saturday morning.

However, the Boston Bruins have brought White in on a PTO and the forward will join the team in Denver.

White spent the 2016-17 season with the Arizona Coyotes and Minnesota Wild, recording nine goals, seven assists and 84 penalty minutes in 65 games.

Boston also called up center Danton Heinen, who will too join the club in Denver.
