Breaking: NHL veteran of 600+ NHL games signs in China!

Former New York Rangers, Arizona Coyotes, Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars and Columbus Blue Jackets forward Lauri Korpikoski is reportedly on the verge of signing a contract with the KHL’s RedStar Kunlun. This according to a report from KHL insider Aivis Kalnins:

Korpikoski split last season between the Stars and Blue Jackets, scoring eight goals and 20 points in 69 games. The 31-year-old veteran winger has managed 86 goals and 115 points in 609 career NHL games, but with his latest signing, it doesn’t appear as though he’ll be back with an NHL team anytime soon.
