BREAKING: Notable Veterans Missing
Keystone Press

After suffering their fourth consecutive loss last night at the hands of the Winnipeg Jets, the Detroit Red Wings have potentially bad news to announce.

While yesterday marked the grand return of long-serving veteran defenseman Niklas Kronwall who was sidelined for months after injuring his knee last season, the blue-liner did not participate in this early afternoon’s team practice. There is no word yet on whether he has hurt himself yet again.

Moreover, fourth line forward Luke Glendening was also missing from practice this morning, and his status is uncertain for tomorrow evening’s matchup versus the visiting Edmonton Oilers. In only 9:33 of ice-time, the 27-year-old center managed to score his first goal of the season. He now boasts four assists and five points in 12 games played during the 2016-2017 regular season schedule.

More on this soon.
