You can't make this stuff up.

On Wednesday the Montreal Canadiens were all about character guys, and they would go on to make a highly questionable trade sending P.K. Subban away to Nashville which multiple reports have claimed was a result of character issues in the locker room.

On Friday the Canadiens appear to have forgotten all about that, and have signed one of the more controversial figures in hockey, former Nashville Predator Alexander Radulov.

It's a big gamble from general manager Marc Bergevin, and the gamble didn't come cheap either with Montreal dishing out $5.75 million for Radulov on a one year contract. It's clear now that the Habs general manager is attempting to go all in with the goal of winning a championship, and now only time will tell if he made the right moves.
