Breaking: Nylander out with illness

The Toronto Maple Leafs held practice today, and there were a few notable omissions. Auston Matthews was once again absent, but so were Tyler Bozak and William Nylander.

The fear was that Nylander and Bozak may have been injured - but Mike Babcock came out after practice to provide updates on his 3 players to the media.

The news on Nylander is hopefully not as bad as it was previously feared - illness can sometimes keep players out for an extended amount of time, but the Leafs are on a 4-day break which gives him time to hopefully return to the lineup for their tilt on Thursday against the red hot New Jersey Devils.

Babcock also elaborated on Matthews' status.
