According to Jim Mattheson who covers the Edmonton Oilers, the Arizona Coyotes just made available their offensive defenseman Michael Stone. Stone is set to be a free agent when July 2017 comes and doesn't seem to be a part of John Chayka's defensive core.
Stone signed a 4 Millions contract for a year this summer with the Coyotes, he missed the first 3 games of his team due to a knee surgery and missed another 6 games with an upper-body injury. He tallies 3 assists in 7 games so far this season and has a minus -2 differential.
Mattheson also stated the offensive defenseman could be a nice addition to the Edmonton Oilers.
