BREAKING : Official Eastern Conference Playoffs bracket is known!

With the Leafs losing to the Blue Jackets tonight, the official matchups are now known!

These are VERY interesting matchups. 

The very powerful Capitals will have to tame the young and ever-improving Maple Leafs. Many see this one as a one way street, but it could turn into an all out war. 

The Penguins will face the surprising Blue Jackets. It's expected that the Crosby's crew will regain a lot of its injured members before the beginning of the first round, so the Jackets will have a lot on their hands. However, Sergei Bobrovski is a real monster this year, with an amazing save percentage of .932. He knows are to stop pucks. 

The Canadiens will face the Rangers once more. We all remember Chris Kreider injuring Carey Price and it's expected to be a very intense series for sure. Both teams have a lot to prove but bring a very sharp and experimented lineup. 

The last matchup will probably be the most physical and intense, with the Senators facing the Bruins. Both teams had very up and down years and they both will look for some consistency. The central elements are obviously Brad Marchand and Erik Karlsson, who's expected to rejoin his team for the first game.
