Breaking: Oilers GM responds to Leon Draisaitl trade rumors!

There were shocking rumors from the National Hockey League's NHL Network this evening, specifically regarding a potential trade involving Edmonton Oilers star forward Leon Draisaitl and Colorado Avalanche star forward Matt Duchene.

Despite the fact that they were coming from a reliable source, it appears that those rumors were in fact completely inaccurate, at least according to Edmonton Oilers general manager Peter Chiarelli.

TSN insider Darren Dreger has reportedly reached out to Chiarelli and has reported the following comments from the Oilers GM:

"We are not trading him. I have talked to nobody nor will I."

"we have tons of cap space and will match any offer sheet. I have said that before."

It's hard to tell who is telling the truth here.
