Breaking: Oilers make a call on Yamamoto

The Edmonton Oilers have announced that they’ve assigned rookie Kailer Yamamoto to the WHL’s Spokane Chiefs.
The 19-year-old rookie scored three assists in 9 games with the Oilers this season and was a surprise to make the initial roster after being selected 22nd overall by the Oilers this past June.
Look for the 5’8”, 154 lb winger to tear up the WHL this season with a strong Chiefs team in Spokane.
