The Edmonton Oilers announced that the team has added a new alternate captain, on Wedneday.
Adam Larsson joins Milan Lucic, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Connor McDavid as the team’s leadership group.
Larsson was acquired by the Oilers back in the summer of 2016, when he was traded by the New Jersey Devils in return for Taylor Hall.
In his first season in Edmonton, Larsson recorded four goals and 19 points in 79 games.
