Breaking: Oilers place forward on waivers; veteran NHL'er joins him
Twitter

While Calgary Flames' Tanner Glass cleared waivers on Tuesday, two other NHL'ers were placed on the waiver wire by their respective teams.

Veteran forward Erik Condra hit the waiver wire as the Tampa Bay Lightning placed him there. The Edmonton Oilers also put one forward on the waivers, as Brian Ferlin was moved there.

Ferlin, who has only played seven NHL games in his career so far, has not suited up for the big club this season. Same goes for Condra, who also did not take part in any contest this season. In 13 games with the Lightning last season, Condra was held pointless.

It'd be surprising to see a rival team pick up one or the other before tomorrow's deadline, but we all know clubs enjoy shopping the waiver wire for potential solutions.
