Breaking: Oilers sign young forward!

Young forward Cameron Hebig has agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.

The 20-year-old forward has followed up his 2015-16 breakout campaign with the WHL's Saskatoon Blades (69 points in 59 games) with another impressive start to this season, as he has tallied 28 goals and 23 assists in just 34 games. 

The undrafted center will likely start the 2018-19 campaign with AHL Bakersfield -- and could join them following the conclusion of his junior season in 2017-18.

One thing is sure: he will likely join the Oilers soon enough if he continues to produce at this level.
