The 2018 Winter Olympic Games are shaping up to be the most lacklustre games in recent memory. With the NHL declining to participate in this time around, there’s still no telling what the teams might look like and which countries will contend for gold, silver and bronze.
What we do know, however is the schedule and the groupings for the Men’s Ice Hockey tournament. The Games gets underway with USA taking on Slovakia on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, while Canada opens their tournament the following day against Switzerland.
Interestingly, the teams have been put into three groups:
Group A
Canada
Czech Republic
South Korea
Switzerland
Group B
Russia
Slovakia
Slovenia
United States
Group C
Finland
Germany
Norway
Sweden
