The New Jersey Devils have acquired goaltender Eddie Lack from the Calgary Flames in exchange for defenseman Dalton Prout.

Lack has been re-assigned to New Jersey's AHL affiliate, Binghamton Devils, from Calgary's AHL affiliate, Stockton Heat.

The goalie played in four games with Calgary this season and has a 1-2-0 record with a 5.29 GAA and a .813 save-percentage.

Prout found himself on waivers on Thursday. The defenseman, who was acquired by New Jersey from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Kyle Quincey at last year's trade deadline, recorded three assists in 18 regular-season games with the club.

In 2017-18, he skated in four games with the Devils and was re-assigned to Binghamton after clearing waivers Friday.
