One of the most notorious players in the National Hockey League is set to become a free agent this summer, and one has to wonder where he will end up next.

According to a report from Andy Strickland of Fox Sports, the Boston Bruins have informed 26-year-old center Zac Rinaldo that he will not receive a qualifying offer from the organization, indicating that he will become a free agent.

Rinaldo is one of the most hated men in the National Hockey League across all fan bases, and that animosity has often been well deserved. Rinaldo has often found himself on the receiving end of hefty suspensions at both the NHL and American Hockey League levels for dangerous hits and dangerous cheap shots against his opponents.

That being said, there are teams who value having a player who plays on the edge like Rinaldo, although one has to wonder if that is enough to earn him an NHL deal at this stage of his career.

He's still relatively young, but any suspension he would face from the NHL at this point would likely earn him double digit games off, and that is a big risk for any team looking to sign him.
