Breaking: One of the NHL's best goaltenders has been injured.

One National Hockey League team will be without their star goaltender for some time.

A breaking news report from the Pittsburgh Penguin's head coach, Mike Sullivan, has revealed that netminder Matt Murray has been injured and will be out for weeks, not days.

"Matt is going to be week-to-week with a lower body injury," said Sullivan on Thursday.

It's a brutal blow to the Penguins, and one that may also impact their plans regarding goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury who many expect will be traded before the National Hockey League's trade deadline. Murray despite being a rookie this season ranks top 5 in save percentage among NHL goalies and of course has a Stanley Cup to his name as well.
