Breaking: One of Vegas' best players will miss camp with injury.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights are off to a rough start in training camp.

As many hockey fans who watched the National Hockey League's Stanley Cup Final earlier this year, a number of players battled through injury in that series, including veteran forward James Neal.

Neal reportedly suffered a broken hand in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final, but despite that continued to battle through the injury in an effort to win hockey's holy grail.

The Predators fell short of their goal and just a short while later Neal was selected by the Las Vegas Golden Knights, unfortunately for Las Vegas however he has not yet recovered from the serious injury he suffered.

A report from David Schoen of RJ Sports has revealed that Neal is expected to miss another two to four weeks according to Golden Knights general manager George McPhee.

It's unclear if Neal suffered a setback or if the healing process merely took longer than expected, but it's a tough start for Vegas who will be without arguably one of their best players to start camp.
