Breaking: Patrick's status updated before puck drop!

The Philadelphia Flyers are taking on the Ottawa Senators tonight, and will be without the services of their prized prospect.

Nolan Patrick didn't return to his last game against the Anaheim Ducks, but he did practice Wednesday. It seemed likely he'd be okay for tonight's matchup, but it appears the injury is worse than originally thought.

The team will monitor his injury closely - as of now, he is listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury.
