Breaking: Penguins announce two roster moves!

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Dominik Simon from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), the team announced on Friday. They have also re-assigned forward Greg McKegg to the AHL.

Simon, 23, was drafted 137th by the Penguins in 2015. He played five games in the NHL, registering two points. In 20 games played in the AHL so far this season, he registered 16 points.

McKegg, 25, was drafted 62nd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010. He was signed as a free agent by the Penguins last summer. In 91 games played in the NHL with the Maple Leafs, the Florida Panthers, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Penguins, he registered 13 points. He had four points in 26 games played with the Penguins so far this season. 

The Penguins will play their next game on Saturday against the Leafs.
