One of the big concerns for fans in Pittsburgh has been the health of star defenseman Kris Letang, and on Wednesday the team's head coach provided an update.
According to a report from Penguins beat writer Josh Yohe, head coach Mike Sullivan was asked if he believed Kris Letang would be back in time for the post season, and he answered in the affirmative. A simple "yes," was all that Sullivan had to say on the matter.
It's not a specific timeline to be sure, but considering how sparse updates have been regarding Letang this is certainly very good news. On top of being widely regarded as the team's best defenseman Letang is a huge part of how the Penguins transition of out of their own zone, an ability that they will need if they hope to push through a what is shaping up to be a tough playoff bracket.
