BREAKING: Penguins GM opens up on Fleury trade rumor

We have heard countless rumors throughout the season about star goaltender Marc-André Fleury, and tons of possible trade destinations for him. Obviously, the Pittsburgh Penguins management have decided not to move him: a bold decision, according to many, since they risk losing Matt Murray to Las Vegas in the expansion draft.

Penguins GM Jim Rutherford opened up about these rumors, earlier today:

According to him, a big part of his team's success is due to Flower's incredible performances. Indeed, Pittsburgh has had not only a successful season, as they ended up recording 50 wins and 111 points, but a great playoff run as well.

Being the Penguins' backup goaltender has reportedly not been easy for Marc-André Fleury. But again, Rutherford praised his goaltender's attitude.

Pittsburgh first Eastern Conference game against Ottawa is tomorrow, at 7:00.
