BREAKING: Penguins Head Coach Mike Sullivan gives IMPORTANT update on Sidney Crosby

As reported earlier today, Sidney Crosby was on the ice at the Penguins practice rink. It was quite an unexpected update on Sidney Crosby's situation as he was suffering a concussion.

After the practice, Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan gave an important update on Sidney Crosby's status for now.

"Sid skated this morning. He is in the process of rehabbing. We'll leave it at that. It's a day-to-day process."

For those wondering about "the protocole" McKenzie Shawn McKenzie, Sportsnet Reporter, added that there is No reason why a player a few days after suffering a concussion can't take part in a non contact skate.

For those who were living on another planet, Sidney Crosby suffered a fifth concussion following what looked like a crosscheck to the head by Matt Niskanen. He did not played game 4 but is not ruled out for Game 5
