The Toronto Maple Leafs took to the ice earlier today and continue to practice after being dominated by the Los Angeles Kings last night by a score of 7-0.

Evidently, this drew the ire of head coach Mike Babcock, who reportedly had the team skating what seemed like endless drills to begin the training session.

There is some news regarding 23-year-old Nikita Soshnikov, as the young Russian right-winger did not participate in today’s practice while Peter Holland took his place.

There’s no telling what exactly is wrong with Soshnikov, but we expected to have an update sooner or later. He has one goal and two points through four games played thus far, and posted a minus-2 rating last night against the Kings.
